Hello,

this is my first good looking sketch and now I need some help. In the moment I have problems with the hands. They look not so good for me...

Please, help me!

First, you should probably post an image of the work rather than the Photoshop file. Here is a good howto on posting images:

This is a very nice start. I like the lighting you have on the figure. She really looks buffed for a woman. Keep going, but before you get to far in details develop the entire painting. Think about your background, the complete figure, composition, color scheme and all the other elements in the picture and start putting the rough sketches so that you can get a feel for the entire painting. I really like your start!

Thank you Euphrosyne! Mmhh, the background....maybe a simple bg. I am a beginner :). (and sorry for my bad english)

Nice start! I would focus on values and the drawing of it more than the painting. :)

This is really looking nice. Anytime Rebbecak gives you advise pay close attention she's good. Anyway when you feel that you are ready to start a bg, one thing that you can do is start making up stories about your character and then a background or setting will probably come to mind. Keep going she looks great.

Thank you all!:)

Miyagu

value means "wertigkeit, hell/dunkel..."
try converting the image into grayscales then itīs easier to check the placement of the values.. :)

hey that looks really nice BUT the lower left side looks like liquid?
thats because of the refraction its called in 3d i guess...the yellow color shining on the dress so strong....but else i really like it :)

edit:
i really would like to know what you think the dress AND the lady look from the front...and i can really imagine a story to this lady, or at least picture imagine a place where she belongs. but i will not influence you here, figure that out yourself :D but u prolly already have

Hi there!
I think thereīs too much light on the left shoulder... maybe change it to get a more realistic look...

Thank you Martyrer!:)
Yes, I have problems with light and shadow. But I work on it.

You can see that I have changed the image complete, now she stood on the left side. She became a half human and animal, a "desert child".
Sheīs standing in the desert, staring at the sea. Dreaming about the wide world...

The image is not complete, anyway thank you all for helping me! (Thank you *dunkelgold* for inspiring me)

Iīam happy for any feedback.

Very hairy. haha! :D
sweet colorscheme! and really nice image :) *loves humanimals*
one suggestion: first i couldnīt understand what is going on with her tail.. there should be a shadow where itīs coming out of the dress..
(and the belt could need more work...)
- but itīs coming a long very nice! keep going!
