View Full Version : Fire FX done in After Effects

This was a test I did using After Effects and sapphire plugin. It is more of an abstract project the goal was to create a simular FX to the one seen in "The Lord of The Rings" (the eye of sauron). my purpose here was not to recreate the exact look of the "eye of sauron". I wanted to give it a less evil look, it is more of an omage to Georgia Okeefe painting. Feel free to send me any feedback. Here is the link:

Thanks for all your responses:). I did not use a tutorial, the idea come to me while trying to reproduce a similar FX I saw in the trailer of “Aeon Flux” (it was the title sequence). But I use sapphire plugin to enhance the FX. :sad:Unfortunately I can not give that trick away yet, but once I am ready I will post it here. Thanks.:)
