I'm using cinema 8.5, and there's this really annoying problem. In perspective view, if I zoom in, then zoom out, the edge display goes semi transparent, and shows the hidden edges, making modelling really confusing. I've tried different settings in the open GL preferences, but nothing seems to work.
any ideas?![IMG]http://img395.imageshack.us/img395/3896/edgeprob8vc.jpg

Seems like it could be a result of the camera being zoomed way way in. Does the problem clear if you reset the viewport to defaults? Or, if you create a camera and check the focal length, what's it say? Also, what vid card/drivers are you using?

Thanks AdamT- when you go back to default views it goes back to normal- only seems to happen in perspective. It's annoying because I do alot of my closeup adjustments in perspective. I'm on a G5 with a Radeon 9700 card.
