I needed to shorten the legs and torso on a character I made in Maya, I have already made the complete rig for it, but have not bound it yet. I was wondering if I scale the rig, if it's going to give me problems later? and if I do, if there is a way to freeze the transformations on it, because it won't let me because of incoming connections I have already made. I don't know much about rigging and any help would be greatly appreciated. I just don't want to have to make it again.
