View Full Version : Cluster - Blendshape Workflow

I have a question regarding clusters and blendshapes.


My character has specific character controlls to controll like different bulges in my geo.
These changes are controlled by clusters which effect the base mesh.

Now I created some blendshapes to test some of the movements. Now here my probleme,
as soon a blendshape is used the clusters loose their control. Am I missing an option?

Or isn't this the correct workflow?

You probably need to adjust the order of your inputs so that the blendshapes affect the deformation before the clusters. This way your blendshap isnt overwriting your clusters. You can go to >all inputs and drag the blendshape input under the clusters input. So what ever is happening at the bottom of the list is first in the order deformation.

Thanks! Works great!
But still I get it some regions of the body (eye socket) some weird deformation when
putting a blendshape to its max! The blendshape doesn't effect the eye region
at all!!
