View Full Version : Digital Painting - Clouds - HELP!

Hi

im working on my first ever digital painting type thing, and i've been doing suprisingly well so far, but ive hit a snag at clouds in that...well they look rubbish. Is there any techniques anyone can share? I'm using photoshop, and i know what i want, but its getting it to look realistic is the problem!

any help would be much appreciated

Use a reference! I cannot stress that enough. :] Clouds are hard to get the hang of.

Another tut for you at Epilogue.net (http://www.epilogue.net/art/tech/socar_clouds/) by Socar Myles. She goes in-depth to what brushes she uses and all that. I hope it's helpful. :]
