This is an illlustration made for a brazilian scientific magazine about "dangerous animals" (This frog has a poisoned skin).I drawn the frog first and then painted it in a isolated layer . For the leaf( or foliage?) I´ve used a modeled object ( I illustrated a leaf texture in hires for the image map) an put the rendered image below the frog´s layer. I´ve finished the illustration with shadows and brightness.
