I recently saw this demo, and in the movie they make a selection and move it and it seems to blend in with the background automatically.

Does anyone know if there is a way of doing this in photoshop or if there is a plugin that replicates it?

It would be my dream tool!

Crazy plug-in !

You could do that by hand using stamp/patch tool, but it wouldn't look half as good and wouldn't be that nice. Top notch texturing filter. Wonder how much it costs.

its arguable how much time that would actually save...unfortunately it seems to not cure the problems that you need to cure like varing tones and repetition which are the time consuming things to cure should you want to repeat a texture.

Probably more use for games/low res texture application.

Does anyone know if there is a way of doing this in photoshop or if there is a plugin that replicates it?Well, I often work a similar way by selecting a part of the image then Ctrl+Alt+D to add a feather to my selection then Alt+Move on that part to duplicate and "auto-merge" it.
