View Full Version : Problem when trying to copy a vertex

I'm doing a tutorial of an Audi A3 from 3d place. in part 3 where you start to make the model if says hold down shift and drag to make a copy,, when i try it i get a pop up, i hace attached a Screen shot of the pop up, doesnt matter what one i select i dont get the result that is shown in the video tutorial. In the tutorial they dont even get this pop up it just make copies with no problems,

anyone know whats wrong, do i have something switched on that i shouldnt?

It sounds like they are doing this in edge sub-object level. If you still want to see the vertices, you can turn on Show Vertex Ticks from Object Properties.

nope thats not it , i just tried it, doesnt work, still get the message,

sorry mate you where right,,, just checked the tutorial and he has edge selected not vertex
