I just signed on to put together an animation team for an indie feature.
The movie's been shot and is in post. We're part of post. Of course there is no budget so the post is in this section not the paying job board.
We're doing about 2 and half minutes of animation in a video game kind of style, complete with drug deal and shootout.

We need:
modellers - alot has been done already, there's alot to go. we need the police to be modeled and a little more BG.

Riggers - I'll be heading this part up in particular. We've got nine characters to rig. I would love someone from NYC area to help script this process with me. Plus we have alot of point weighting to do...

Fluid effects for blood and ocean

lighting and texturing -think animation noir

character animators. ever wanted to do a gun battle? nows your chance.

please send links to your work to bill@billstout.com

so it looks like the biggest hole is lighting director. they have a pretty good city scape for the opening shot. the camera moves are good, the feeling isn't bad, it's probably too big to render in one piece (no prob, i can pick it apart render in layers and composite it) but i can't do the lighting and do the rigging and animating. so if you want to light a city film noir style this is a great chance to strut.

cheers
