View Full Version : Rendering a HDRI panorama in max?

How it is possible to render a panorama which would be HDR. I know there is the panorama exporter which makes a good panorama, but is there some easy way to render the image with HDR information?
I´m using VRay.

sure, use the vray spherical camera. make sure your aspect rations is twice as wide as high, and make sure you render out using the vray buffer. Also uncheck clamp output in the color mapping rollout. lastly save out to HDR.
