Title: Flight Of The Valkyrie
Name: Nick Deligaris
Country: Greece
Software: Photoshop
Hello, this painting was inspired by the Macross universe. I wanted to make an action scene, so I came up with this composition. For the details of the Veritech Fighter I used a toy model that I have, and I also used several references to paint the ground.
Painted from scratch in Photoshop.
Original resolution: 4000x3000
Comments are welcome :)
Thanks!

very good work.
i like the dynamics, and the fighter is nicely done too
nice perspective aswell.
only thing that could use some more work is the explosion "mushroom" looks like a tree, or is it just me :)

I love the perspective. It would be nice to see more speed in the piece, but I can live with that :)

The detail of the machine very clear! Also the soft color tune was well. If add more bombed view i think would show the piece more impressive. Very good job!

I love macross and this pic is really nice. Thou more real-like backgroound would be more proper cuz this one is looking kinda flat to me. ;)

great work. About the missle by the right arm though... is it supposed to be like that? Is it floating beside the arm I mean... Or is it connected or did it miss the fighter because the fighter avoided it?

I like this alot, Nick. Very cool choice of perspective, and the rendering of the Valkyrie is really good, it almost looks like a 3D render, hehe. The dynamic feeling also really nicely done, alot of action going here... Kudos in piles from me! ;-)
