backburner is what Discreet is calling their new network rendering manager.

it is the furthest away burner on your stove when you are standing in front of it. It can either be the one on the right or left depending on your mood or situation. I perfer the left one usually and reserve the right one for a constant kettle postion.

oh and it is for warming food/water or on cold days ones hands

I think VIDI Prsenter Pro and or Infini-d used to have a render farm app called Backburner guess they lost the trademark when both of them tanked or whatever happened to those programs????
