The C4D Cafe presents the ...

"Flight School" Animation Contest

Do you have what it takes to be an experimental pilot? Your assignment, if
you choose to accept it, is to build an experimental jet fighter using the
provided tutorial and fly it into the danger zone. Push it to the limit and
show us what it can do! Make a short film of your best moves and present it
to the flight commander by 23:00 hours September 30th CST. One lucky pilot
will win a copy of BodyPaint 2.5 from MAXON along with a copy of
“Discovering BodyPaint 2 with 3DKiwi”.

Aw man, looks great and I'm no where near an animator. The animation has to be done in C4D?

Wow what a great idea for a contest! The tutorial on the plane looks great, but do you mind if people skip the building and just animate the one you've already built? Once all the entries are in maybe you can string them all together (or maybe just the highlights) into one downloadable web movie.

Thanks for the comments. Should be a lot of fun. C4D any version must be used. Other 3D apps can't be used. You can use my model although we encourage people to be creative and modify it. e.g. missiles etc
