i am working on my demo its due next week or so. i have no time to texture anything. anyone have some simple ideas of what simple texture i could use so my models aren't plain defult shaders

when I hear "No time to texture anything" (if you are telling the full truth :)) I would say stay away from texture maps. A bad texture map on a good model could do a lot of harm to the overall impression. Second, if this demo reel is to showcase strength in texturing....you're screwed.

1.Even default shaders can be made interesting in different lighting... Just look at how many people are using some sort of global illumination scheme.
2. Experiment with different light colors.
3. Depending on the surface you are texturing, IMHO, you could easily work with the sliders and values of the different "default" shader models (Phong, Blinn, Lambert, etc)

thanks for the tip i wish i did have time to texture but i really dont. i will play arrouond with the lights and see what i can do

yeah, even after the due date i'd go back and texture everything properly.

However, you could use some presets, just make sure that everything looks consistant.
