View Full Version : Concerning the Edit Sphere
Breed47 08-19-2005, 01:49 PM Hey!
Iīm new to Messiah and one thing that bothers me is the Edit Sphere. On all images I can find itīs like a ball with circles defining the axes. When I start up Messiah Studio the only thing I can see is the controllers. Is there something I forgotten to turn on?

Look in the last page in the help docs?
There you'll see:
Esc - Hide/Unhide Edit Sphere
From that what I got was:
Press the escape key
Not? :D

Hey Spin!
Yea, I checked the last page. And it works. But what I really dont get is why my sphere doesnīt show those three circles x,y and z. Look:

Itīs just a dotted circle. I want it to look like this:

Hi Breed, did the edit sphere always look like that for you? The XYZ axis lines are normally only visible when their positive axis is facing you, but I couldn't find a way to get ALL of the axis lines invisible. What kind of video card are you using?

Yes it always looks like this. Just bought a new videocard. A Sephire Radeon x700. 256 mb memory and opengl 2.0.

That looks weird and I don't think is normal ,, could be something related to your
graphic card settings ,, u might want to test if it looks like that on your old card
just to be sure ,, in case that you still have it ...

Definitely looks like a graphics card issue.

You can remap the hotkeys to fit your needs.

because when i press a number, i like to see it match like it should.
when your calling some one and you press the number 2 on the phone

Weird
Sorry was trying to help but it looks like a graphics card issue.
Must be a rare thing.
Mine displays OK if I press Esc.

Maybe someone has the link to report bugs?
You could also find out with Sapphire if this is a known issue.
Or maybe the card's damaged?
