This should probably be under rigging...

So this seems like a no brainer.

I have a face (actually just the portion around the eye modelled in polys) and the lid closes and opens using a blend shape. Works nicely, looks good, now about those eyelashes, how can I constrain them to the surface? I tried making a cluster (or several different clusters) of the points where the eyelashes would attach but no joy: the eyelashes refuse to move with the eyelid.

Should I just be done with the blend shapes and constraints and rig the lid and the eyelashes with a bone? How do other people set up eyelashes?
