Hi,
I am in the process of trying to build an anatomically correct shoulder rig which will deform correctly on a realistic human mesh.
I would like to create a rig with an auto clavicle (whereas the clavicle moves depending on the shoulder and upper arm movement) - I would also like to incorporate some sort of "sterchy bones" I have seen on some rigs where additional bones are added in the scapula and chest area which make the skin and surrounding tissue around the shoulder shift and crease whilst retaining volume.
Does anyone have any tips, links to online tutorials, books or reference regarding this subject?
In the past I have used character studio within 3dsmax for rigging; however I find it extremely limited for realistic character work.
- I understand that Warwick Mellow had a fantastic website which detailed the process he went through when creating PAN - a dancing greek god animation - his website was available at http://staff.ci.qut.edu.au/~barkerc/Final%20PAN%20website/panindex.htm (http://staff.ci.qut.edu.au/%7Ebarkerc/Final%20PAN%20website/panindex.htm) - however this website is now down?? does anyone know if he has another website mirror?
Help much appriecated,
chris:)
