I hope you like this new one, and please send me some critics, if I´m going in the right way or if I should just quit cause my last thead just got tow replies :( and I think that and not good enough to be in this competition......but hey I least I´m trying right, is not a 3D model just a comic style drawing and I said before I hope you like it...

looks really cool, but give him a mask and protectors (as it is written in the challenge rules :) )
And shade him! He's looking very good to me!

Ok here is a new one, I did it today at work ´bout 7 hours :p but I think it worth the time I hope you like this one

He got a mask but just wear it some times because he doesn´t breath, he is a sperimentation of the last scientis on the worl after the Apocalipsis you know xperiment of the human genoma half man half plant it uses solar light as food and some times it digs his fingers to take some minerals from the soil or drink water so it just wear the mask at night to see in the dark.

I think this looks prettey decent. I would like to give some advice on the character himself. You've got alot of really nice detail on things like the eyes, the bag, and even that staff thing. It would be great if you could bring out some more detail on the rest of the body it looks prettey bland when compared to some other parts of the character you've focused on. I know your still working on it, great start.
