View Full Version : urgent help needed for fluid fire
MLouis 08-17-2005, 03:20 PM Hello all, I have a projet I have been doingfor a company to make a looped fire. They like the fluid fire I made, but I cant figure out how to make it taper and begin to disappear towards the end. The fire looks great but because it does not end it looks like an eruption rather than fire. Does anyone know how I can do this? Thanks in advance,
Mike

could you post a still frame?
It sounds to me like you dont have your dissipation set high enough on either your density or temperature. Try setting them to something like 2 or 3. You could always go to the fluid examples and see how they created theirs

The dissipation should do the trick. Any images we could see as a guide? Also, what are your current settings?
