View Full Version : I need very detailed tutorials for maya 4 personel learning edition
Dominic123 11-01-2002, 07:47 PM I need some basic tutorial for 3d models. I have maya 4 personel learning edition. I'm a bigginner in making 3d models. I only made about 3 differente ones in maya and rhino. So the tutorials have to be very detailed. In the maya forum I went in the first page and in the sticky thread called "maya tutorials". I found lots of tutorials there but they are not detailed enough or there're for other 3d modeling software. I spent about 2 hours searching for detailed tutorials for maya 4 personel learning edition and I can't find some. Can you please help me? The tutorials don't have to by for maya 4 personel learning edition. The tutorial just need to have the some command and instruction for this version of maya.

Yes I did do some tutorials that came with maya 4 ple. They're under :"getting started: tutorials", "new to maya?" and "instant maya". I did the door, hammer, face and salt shaker. Are they the only ones? This is the kinds of tutorial I need. I also went under "get help", "recource center", "more tutorials". I downloaded the ship tutorial. But I didn't do this one because I had a problem. Where's the tutorial? In the unziped folder there's a note pad called " maya learning day excersises". I double clicked on it and in the window that appears it's full of mixed up letters and simbles and I don't understand anything. Is this suppose to be the tutorial? If it is, how can it be understandable? Then I went in the other maya icons in the unzipped folder. They make me go in maya and in it its the model that is already done. I want to make the models, not look at it.
