View Full Version : Sony memory stick pro duo 512mb = 1gb???

although not strictly cg related, may be of interest to psp users...

i recently purchased a sony memory stick pro duo 512mb, and on looking in disc management (control panel> administrative tools> computer management> storage> disc management) while connected as an external device to my k750i mobile phone, saw that in the properties for the memory stick that the capacity read 933 mb, with 465 mb of unallocated space...

is it possible that the card has been crippled by sony and is actually a 1gb card with reduced capacity, or is it just a memory shadow or something?

only one way to find out! pop it back in your camera and format! :)

reformatting the card doesn't change anything.

the 'new partition' option is greyed out in disc management...

i can only assume it's a glitch. oh well!
