The tutorials on pmG's site are great. If you're looking for general use of the application then the manual is a great place to start. The manual and video tutorials from various users is how I learned the basics of the program...a few questions here and there here too also but "RTFM" holds true here as with any application. :)

thank
but im looking for video tutorials
it really doesn't matter on what, just some thing you might show for a newbie
kind of like just clicking around and showing some very short steps on what does what
then move on down the line showing other stuff, so you dont get into a long video tutorial on just 1 or 2 things.
i kind of like to see a render video with material and how they plug them in.

you might need to zip them first
go here http://megaupload.com
on the top right look for the word BROWSE
and upload them there
and as soon as its done then it will give you a link so you can show it here.
the e.mail is not required.
thank

can ANYONE post a video tutorial
you dont even need audio if you want.
just some thing, just any thing.
if you dont know how to do screen capture video just say so and i will show you.
after the video is finished it really should be compressed with some thing.
because if you dont you could actuley take a 15 second video and the file size would be quit HUGE mega huge

hey PMG guys, how about being a bit proactive and hosting tutorials??? I mean, might as well encourage users to share info if you wont give us complete documentations.
hell in fact, i can host vids if you really cant find a place. ill have to upgrade my hosting account but there is a new version of the gallery im using that can support videos!

pmG hosts videos...it just takes a while to get the site updated. I'm capable of hosting tutorials right now without problem...no need to upgrade your account stooch if you don't want. I think the problem is that everyone is asking for tutorials but there's no one that knows enough to create them! Especially all the new features.
My Fault

I wish someone from pmg would just hire Joe Cosman. Stick him and Taron in a room together. Joe has created some of the most approachable training material I have ever seen and Taron is crazy talented (Joe is as well). Joe can soak up all the new features from watching Taron and then create some of the new training material. Take said training material and put it up on the pmg site as Joe finishes it, maybe torrent it so it keeps the strain off of pmg's servers. Current users would more easily get up to speed with the features and be able to better leverage messiah's many strengths. Non users can see how well things are implemented, trying out some of these new tutorials on the demo, and then seeing how good this little program is then purchase and become new users. Everyone would benefit from this.
Am I just naive thinking this is a good idea?

leebert, thanks you one is 175mgs and onther one, 88 but i think i manage to upload them correct, this is what i got after some hours
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=20MWTJ78 this is for the basic rigging tutorial
and
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=20J0GKQO for the advance rig, it containd some bone dynamic, some muscles, exprescion, (expresion is very cool because i create a team of 5 exprecion to get a perfect solution of a walking (having the hip center) and get a balance of weight of the character on the feet (hip moving right and left depending of wich foot is up or down) also is a scene with the rig so you can play and understand them.
i hope you can download them

Hi delos,
great job  ! Downloading your videos now ...
One suggestion though: is it possible to bring the file sizes down by e.g. using smaller resolution/different codec/splitting up in parts ? Even on a fast conncetion, 175 meg are a bit frightening ....
Anyway, thanks for your efforts :)

hi suricate, yea, you can get a lower res, but i whanted to get a good video, (if i rez size them i couldnt read the letters on the program) and the video codec, i try to use several, if you see the dynamic tutorial, julez make the huge favor to make the file a little smaller, i think he use divx i am not sure, if you can make them smaller and better, upload them =)

thats really good
thanks
i dont mind downloading large file size if the video quilty is good
and that was good.
do you have any "short" sample of like rendering and setting up facial animation?
the reason i say "short" is because the shorter you can make it
the better i can understand it.
thank
ill take any thing if anyone desides to post some thing they like...
btw i got the 178 MB downloaded and ill do the others here shortly.
thank
oh i seen your little bone pelvic joke LOL
You had the frames at 25 per sec
if you want to cut the file size down, just lower it a tad
but not to much or the video will be to choppy
like i said i dont mind downloading the large file, it was worth it.
if the file are i think under 50 MB
try this http://rapidshare.de (http://rapidshare.de/) this is much faster

there is a time clock on the top right
it should start off at 45 seconds
soon as it counts down then your download will be there were the clock timmer was at.
Leebre
08-19-2005, 03:37 AM
Yeah, I wait for the 45 seconds. It's when I click the button to initiate the download, or right click on it to save as that my browser just sits there and churns until it times out.

and my render notes are on my site.
But the docs have animated gifs on the subject.
