Hi,
I have set up some additional machines as mental ray satellites and have suceeded using them as slave machines in a render (using the maya help files). HAving read the documentation - a couple of questions still remain: Some of our machines are quad processor servers - do these machines count as 1 cpu or 4 cpu's each in the "8 additional cpu's allowed"?
2. How do the machines use their memory with regards to the normal "memory limits" in render globals.... (since often the servers i will use as slaves have more ram than the machine i use as master).
3. Well this is the dumbest question but I didnt see it mentioned anywhere - what influence does the "render on this machine" checkbox in the batch render options, have on networked renders?
