Hey guys.I have reworked him one more time and i think this is the last time i do :P
He's got into 3 processes of changes.I'm quite happy with the polyflow on this one as it really deforms very well and i can even do face animations.Crits are welcome.
Btw,hair is alpha mapped but i cant get it to show on lightwave modeler.(screen capure quality,really low :( )

He looks real similar to Leon from Resident Evil 4. Nice textures though. What kind of game are you making/working on?

Really nice!
The Kid is turning out to become one of the best games made by 3D GameStudio :)
I like the soft folds in the clothing!. Good luck on the progess :thumbsup:

yeah, haha, definitely Leon.

I think that piece of hair over his forehead needs an alpha on it though.

The only crit I can think of is that the face texture just looks wrong somehow. I think there's maybe too much red and not enough blues, greens, purple, etc.

edit: can you also post wires?

edit again: Just noticed that the fur around the collar of the coat doesn't have any alpha planes. If it fits in your texture and you can spare the polies it couldn't hurt to add some planes coming out of there.

Resident evil?Leon? who is this guy??lol i could say that,but i must admit it.I really wanted my character to look like Leon since they will be similiar in many ways and this look really fits to character in the storyline
@Keiyentai:this game is a psycological horror (smth between silent hill and resident evil)with much action in it.

@BurrowingDuck: I'll add some more color variations to his face,thanks for pointing out.
@kOmoo: I wanted him long haired.
Today i will rig it and upload some pics.Even wires :)

I was just looking at your online folio - love the guy with the fox shorts - LOL!!

I would say though that in general you textures are a bit grainy. Use the noise filter judiciously and only really as an base or lightly applied finishing touch.

Saramago,actually those models are a bit old,i used to bake radiosity from lightwave without using the reduce noise button and i had noise all over the texture.but i managed to get away from that method. :)

My only crit on the deformation is that his knees sorta look like rubber when bent. ;)

Yeah, I think he's right. Something is really wrong with the knees. It looks like he is wearing knee-protection-pads like a skater, but under his pants ...

I like the rest of him.

i think he looks ok. meybe the hair could use some rework.
