Title: Saint Denis Cathedral
Name: Mark Julien
Country: Canada
Software: SOFTIMAGE|XSI
I modelled and textured this building using xsi and added some final touch ups in photoshop. I rendered out FG, Depth, Volumic, and Glow passes to composite this final render. Tell me what you think.

weeeeeeeee. facinating! i love the reflection of the glass on the floor. :) Is the stain glass one texture or did you break it up (4 arches, 3 circles) to have like 7 textures.
after my eyes soak the stain glass, i focus on the plaque thing on the right. you might want to tone down the saturation on geometry.
love it.

Great! Your render gives a really nice sense of just how big the space is. Really like this one :)

Something felt off about the perspective, but I think that's just the positioning of the camera (seems like its been placed a little high?).
Interesting lighting though. I wouldn't want to have to model the vaulting in the ceiling. ;)

I agree with you on the camera placement. I wonder if i put in some pews or something it would add depth to it. Some parts of the windows are textured as one but others are seperate so i could change the texture projection on it so it wouldnt be so uniform.
