CGTalk - Corrupt PSD file

I saved a PSD file in Painter 9 then closed the program. When I tried to open the file it says file is not a photoshop file. I can see a thumbnail of the image in Painter open window, but I can't open the file in any program.

I've tried 3 different PSD recovery programs and had no luck

Any help would be great

Ohman, I've been there. :cry:
This is why I now save at least 3 different PSD-files so they wouldn't corrupt.

Probably you've done this already, but have you tried opening it in Photoshop?
