View Full Version : A problem with Cinema 4D v.8

hello guys .
I have a problem with Cinema 4D 8 in rendering .
I put a sphere ,then add it to the timline then I animate the segments of sphere . for now everything going OK in the view , that is I saw the changes I made in the segments of the sphere when I play ,but the problem comes when I render , I do not see those changes that I saw it in the view...the segments of the sphere does not change. sorry for lot speaking .

Are you recording keyframes?

Do you have point-level-animation recording enabled?

Did you RTFM?;)

C4D does not autokeyframe like some other apps unless you tell it to. If you don't enable PLA recording, point modifications won't be recorded as animation.

If you have done it correctly, you should see the changes play back in the editor without rendering.

hmm got the same problem.
Loaded your file. You animated only the segment parameters.
I also like to know a solution.

Oh, Sorry, I thought you were trying to animate individual vertices.

In the sphere's parameter dialog (C4D 7) or in the attributes manager (C4D 8) turn off "render perfect". This renders a perfect sphere no matter the segment settings...
