I noticed my environments were either fantasy based or had stylistic saturated colours. So I forced myself to help contribute to a mod as a excuse to do A) typical game environment and B) do more then one element/part of a level and C) work with higher poly counts then usual.

I'll keep adding as I go, to be honest I think even at this stage my 'style' has somehow crept in there  (something I was trying to avoid).

I am using alpha decals/floaters for the papers and also extra dirt on corners/sides etc

Hey, it’s looking nice man, ill look forward to more updates....and don’t worry, personal style creeping in is not something to avoid, it’s a good thing!

I think that looks really great, no complaints. The viewport shot reminds me of FFT in some ways...I'd love to see a good 3d-iso tactics game in a realistic setting like this!

EDIT - You should only avoid having a personal "style" when you start using it as a crutch. Nothing in this model so far appears to have been limited or even necessarily stylized in any dramatic way, I think you are on a great track here!
