I need to find a way to convert a 3D Mesh into a 3D Solid... in order to export a model from SketchUP or MAX into Inventor for documentation. This way I can use the automatic section cut and dimensioning inventor has.



Or, a second option, is to export to Revit, But then I’m not sure this is quicker and more productive… I don’t want to redefine each object into a specific family for the documentation to work.



Any thoughts?
