just wondering if there is a way to make certian colors invisible... okay am using uv mapper to make a texture and i have two colors; the black wire frame and the white inbetween them.. how can i make white transparent so that i can use the black wireframe layer to be on top of a seperate layer that i am going to be painting on. i wanna use the wireframe to stay inside the lines..

i dont know if this is a decent method, but i figured that i would ask.

thanks

So you're painting a texture in Photoshop right? Here's how.

* Create a new layer and fill it with black and name it "Background".
* Place your wire frame layer on top and set the blend mode to multiply (Multiply automatically takes out all values of white in an image. The opposite to this is Screen which takes out all of the black.)
* Create a new layer in-between the "background" layer and wire frame layer. Name it texture or whatever and begin to paint.

You should now be able to see what you’re painting without messing up your UV map. Hope this helps.
