This is my package, lost somewhere by the postoffice. Must be the caffeine ninja monkeys who took it.
(I'm not kidding, got a slip today that said "you have a package at this office, please pick it up after five. When I got there, no package. So, they just lost it? Problems is, where do you complain about the postoffice? )

Great sketches! Nice one Art2, like the colors!
I ran out of time on this one. My neighbor dropped by and gave me two tickets to the Mariners' baseball game, so I'm going! I might do a little more work on it later when I get back. So far I've spent about 2.5 hours. I kept on repainting the scene over and over, wasn't sure where I wanted to go with it.

Art2 and Thany and AndrewLey! 3 of my all time favorites checking in with some top notch work. Great work you guys.
Art2- I love how the figure is mostly silhouette with the very subtle use of the edge light to give it form. And the hand in the air just feels so right on and solid even though it's done so loose.
Thany - I can feel the atmosphere in your sketch. Really nice atmospheric perspective. And the tree on top of the mech is a nice touch.
AndrewLey - As usual the sense of energy in you sketches is amazing. I really like your sense of design.
Man, I miss participating in the DSG. One of these days I'll have the time to get back into it. Nice work everyone. Keep it up. Long live the DSG!

Thany, Navate - Love the mood!
Art2 - Powerful! I like it!
Andrewley - Love the tranport design!
Pipichu - Awesome maze! My eyes could wander across the lines for hours...

Thanks guys!
I haven't done a daily sketch in a long time, but looked at every single sketch done. Lots of great new guys with great talent. I should contribute more, 'cos I really felt rusty. And I think I've lost this artist's block/depression I've been having bit by bit.

i wanted to include some kind of main character in the scene, but i couldn't find a statisfying way to do it in the end ... so, just imagine yourself in here.
i hope it reads as a "dense jungle" full of cold, soulless people being represented by those menacing silhouettes, cause that was my goal :)

the_nr: The Shining? Maybe it could be a bit darker...
Art2: Great! What are the People (orange shadows) in the background doing?
Thany: I really like your sketch! Reminds me of Hyperion by Dan Simmons: "The Hegemony Consul sat on the balcony of his ebony spaceship and played Rachmaninoff's
Prelude in C-sharp Minor on an ancient but well-maintained Steinway while great, green,
saurian things surged and bellowed in the swamps below. A thunderstorm was brewing to the north."
Everyone else: You're all so great! I have to learn so much!
Art2 hehe didn't get them yet.... ;(
The Vux:
Thnx for the welcome. At least I'll try to stay here for a while...but still a bit
busy :(
But I'll do my best!

I ran out of excuses for not joining the daily sketch forum. Initial sketch with pen and paper, then several hours in photoshop. I used photographic reference, I hope that isn't against the rules.

Goro, what an outrage!! :)
cpt, ...that's the mystery I guess  Maybe they're lost souls, watching another lost soul getting lost...
