Thought I might point you all at some nice 3D jpegs and mpegs I've put online and on DVD. They were created as part of my PhD research into the integration of 3D sound and 3D graphics. It's taken me about 5 years to get these animations and related research done. Before that I worked as a pro animator in Australian FX houses. There's about 25 minutes of music/animation online here:

The animations were created with the Houdini 3D animation software which is a high end package used at houses like Digital Domain in L.A. Houdini has some awesome flexibility and features - notably the inclusion of quite complex audio analysis tools. All these animations are controlled by the music - there are no key frames in the entire body of work. How else do you think I managed to get 25 minutes of animation out on my own!! Anyway check it out. Hope you enjoy. Oh - and wear headphones and 3D glasses for Schwarzchild if you have them. The other mpegs aren't stereoscopic or binaural though. You have to buy the DVD to get that...
