Produce gameplay content in the game production phase. The Designer is responsible for producing professional gameplay content for the game he/she is assigned to. Using team specific tools or off the shelf tools, a Designer is responsible for guiding the art and programming elements into a fun game.

EXAMPLES include, but are in no means limited to:
Placing enemies in the environment at fun and interesting locations. Adjusting gameplay control until the user control feels ‘just right’. Writing AI scripts for enemy units. Creating level layouts and maps using a level design tool. Adjusting enemy hit points and/or AI logic until the game is balanced, etc... Because each game produced has its own requirements determining what makes a finished, fun and entertaining game, Designers must be able to adapt to follow and/or identify the requirements above on a per title basis and remain an integral part of the production cycle.

At the level of Designer, the production work provided is expected to be professional, usable, and solidly crafted: Design any element of an assigned game. The Designer should be able to contribute any element of the game design he/she is assigned.

EXAMPLES include but are in no means limited to:
Shell design. Level design. AI design. Game control design. Story and character design. Besides the above elements, the Designer must be able to professionally communicate these designs in written and/or verbal form to the appropriate members of the team. The design work provided by a Designer is expected to be usable, professional, and solidly crafted.

Responsibilities:
Design or Assist in the Creative Game Design of one or more products in all areas to include:
* Establishing, maintaining, and guiding the creative direction of one or more games and relaying that vision to the internal and external members of the development team.
* Producing gameplay content in the game production phase of one or more products.
* Create and aid in creating new game designs. The Designer is responsible for working alone or with other members of the studio to create new game designs.
* Creating design documents from scratch.
* 1-10 page design synopsis that may become full game designs.
* Analyzing and improving upon already created design documents and design concept documents. Researching games and other art forms in hopes of discovering new ideas for games.

Qualifications:
* Three to five years of experience.
