View Full Version : THE COMIC STRIP!: "Mostly Typical"

OK here's my attempt at creating a comic strip series based on the mostly typical lives of a semi-ordinary guy, his family and friends. It's more of a "slice of life" kind of thing with (ideally) some occassional weirdness thrown in to spice things up. Here's the banner:

I'm planning to work on the detailed breakdown of the cast in this thread next. Meanwhile here's the introductory strip:

Not too unique perhaps, but hey as they say: "Draw on what you know!"
I gotta at least start somewhere right?

Ok I have posted it.

Dont forget to send me an image called:
MyLatestStrip.jpg.
This will be the file you will update.
As soon as I get it, I will updated the main thread.

Nice work so far :thumbsup: I liked seeing the other installments on your site and the blogs about them.

I think the text is too small... but that could be because I like to use such huge text, I don't know.

I'm coming up with the next strip hopefully by this weekend.
I was also planning on putting up some character designs to get some feedback.
