I just picked up a HP TC4200 today, and am in the process of getting everything set up the way I like it. Messing around with Photoshop CS2, I noticed that the pallete well is missing when working in portrait mode (which would be most of the time in slate mode). In case you're not sure which bit I'm referring to, see the attachments. First attachment shows the well, second pic shows the upper right corner in portrait mode.
Ordinarily I wouldn't be so annoyed, but the palette well is the only place I can dock the Brushes palette where it doesn't resize the windows. Dock it anywhere else, and I get a palette that takes up half the working area.
Is there a solution for this, or am I going to have to either live without the palette well or change the screen orientation to landscape even while working with the tablet in portrait orientation?
New problem. I just noticed that PS isn't recognizing the pressure sensitivity (the little exclamation mark appears next to the brush settings).
:hmm:
edit:
Just to clarify, I've tried starting PS while in portrait mode, as well as started in landscape then switched to portrait. Either way, the docking well appears in landscape but not portrait. The well is also immovable, so I couldn't drag it around.
