I'm not so much concerned with the figure itself because i know of the flaws in the perspective among other things.. but this is my first painting (Painter IX). I've been screwin around with it but have no background in painting at all. I was just hoping maybe some one could offer some advice concerning the actual painting of it.. i'm going for a painterly sort of style, not completely smooth rendering... Thanks
