So I'm sure your all familiar with ctrl_shading (tool of choice for blurred reflections) and the l_glass shader (tool of choice for refraction blurring). So in maya 7 I was playing around with mib_glossy_reflection and mib_glossy_refraction, the reflection one seems to be great and an ideal replacement to ctrl_shading cause it appears to give you much more control. So then I figured the new refraction one would be a suitable replacement for the l_glass shader, but I just can't get it to come out as good as l_glass. I can kind of get it there, but l_glass still seems to produce better results much easier. Although, I don't doubt this is because I am new to it and there seems to be a ton more options in mib_glossy_refration to adjust and mess up. So I am wondering, has anyone found the ideal settings for this shader to make it produce really nice looking glass like the l_glass shader?

Yah I know the most obvious thing to do would be just use l_glass, but all the added options and controls in mib_glossy_refration make me think it would be better if I can ever get it figured out.
