Just off the top of my head (I have very limited experience with wiring so far) - what does it show in track view?
Also - did you create the wiring connection in a scene with more than 150 frames?
Not sure if this will shed much light - but hopefully someone who know properly about wiring will step in and solve your prob straight away! :)

Have you altered the length of the animation? This happens quite a lot, the wiring only is in effect for the length of time of the anim when it was wired. There is a script which gets around this at scriptspot:

its called set wired animation length or something

Well the odd thing….
I messing around in the track view then still didn’t fix it, restarted max and now it works fine!!
With max I like to throw salt over one shoulder hold my breath and say a little prayer then 15% of them time it works
But thanks for the suggestions
