She didn't know whether it was the mayonaise on his chin or just the unusual smell coming from the suitcase, but Martha just cracked in the bathroom.

Photoshop CS, stopped after about an hour. All the 50's adds from yesterday still making an impression, all the woman are so cute, no matter if it would be a small bodypart or "mom" tattooed on it, she would still be smiling :p
cheers!

Mrs. Smith is a happy newlywed until she realizes just how cheap Mr. Smith is.
~~~
PSP 35 min. 20 min thinking of an idea and 15 min painting I hope you guys get this or I will go into a bloody panic.
If this is offensive to anyone, my apologies as I could have used a number of other countries.
Csgirl- Poor frog, I mean girl... I like your picture and don't have any room to critique as I suck, but the wedding ring is on the right ring finger as opposed to the traditional left. Was this on accident or a boycott to tradition? *wink Either way, I like the drawing.
hehe, it was a mistake. I was on the correct hand, but I flipped my canvas at the last second, and forgot. =p
Finally, I've caught up with the Daily Sketch.
I spent a lot of time on the werewolf's head. Can you tell it's a werewolf?:shrug:
Ha great, yes you can tell it's a werewolf, but is that the princess from mario? Haha, you must have a mario reference in every second or third sketch. I think I've counted at least five.
Haha, I hope you don't believe in that. Looks great...although... it scares me.:D
Heh, I didn't notice that. It does look like Princess Peach, but it's just coincidence. But I like Nintendo games so I guess I got my inspiration from them. I also have been playing Paper Mario: A Thousand Years Door lately.:)
erilaz - nice, anatomy of the face doesn't seem 100% correct, but well .. it's a sketch after all...
Alice - feels very 50's like, seems like you dig that background eh? not the first time i see it, if i remember correctly?! :)
quigly - Haven't seen the movie ... (it's about the mr./mrs. smith movie thing right?) so ... no idea :shrug:
lungx - no specific tip here, i would suggest to study colours and perspective
csgirl - quite good, i think the values in the foreground should be darker tough, as it is night in the picture
doomdragon - i actually thougt of this too, but i couldn't really think of how a "honey-moon" looks like :)
pipichu - cool style, as always - dig it
DreamMaster - good anatomy, some areas should be more desaturated imo, also more contrast wouldn't hurt
Gord - Haha, this could very well be a scene from the simpsons, thinking of principal skinner :)
xodibox - very nice, no crits here
Her0d - hehe, i like that you included the speaking bubble in the mirror, but would it really lead to panic if you get a child from the guy you just married? :)
The Vux - hehe weird idea, that's the thing from terminator right? (didn't see it)
and now my contribution to the topic:
about 2 hrs, opencanvas, get the wpe file here -> clicky (http://mitglied.lycos.de/therealshit/honeymoon.wpe)
True, I try to have some kind of organic background to have some life in the picture even when its just a sketch. I have had clouds in the background in every single speedpaint this week I think :)
Nice Dino you have there my friend :)
I know it seems strange, but this pic was based on a true and a quite nasty story (no, not mine:-). It have passed one, two weeks after the wedding at most, the test was positive, and the husband has realized, that they... erm... their wedding night was their 'first time', and the pregnancy tests cant detect anything that fast. Well, long story short, she had a lot to explain, and there was no way to explain this in a acceptable way. :/
(Christ, why do I tell such stories on a forum about drawing? :P )
Sorry about that :)
