Formed in 2000 this company have already produced two AAA games and are now working on a Major Next Generation title and to help them accomplish this they are looking for a senior technology programmer to join their team.
You will be responsible for creating and maintaining an abstraction layer for the target hardware and providing a technology framework for multiple games/areas. This will mean working on numerous areas including 3D graphics, scene management, networking, sound, collision, physics, animation, special effects, optimisations, algorithms and scripting languages.
They are looking for someone with at least 3 years industry experience who has previously worked in a graphics/engine position. You will be able to work in a structured way in C++ and be able to generate easy to understand code whilst keeping track of memory/performance aspects.
You will also have a strong academic background with a degree in computer science, mathmatics, physics or other technical study. A detailed knowledge of 3D graphics algorithms and strong design skill (preferable using graphical tools such as UML) are also essential.
