Hi everybody,
In my company we wish to swtich from
C.A.T (3dsmax) to Alias Motion Builder 'cause
we're really impressed about MB performances
and workflow.

But I still can't find in MB a module similar
to the "MOTION" panel inside CAT.
This panel gives me the ability to add parametric
animations onto the rig for example a walkcycle.
Then I can modify parameters to exagerate all
aspects of the walkcycle (speed, arms, legs, overlapping ecc. ecc.)

I can also attach a path to the rig and it automates
the footstep's contacts, dynamically.

In MB I've to start with a Motion Capture and then
modify it with a Relative Layer. :(

Does anyone know if there is something like "MOTION" in MB
or if Alias is going to add it?

Thanks a lot!

There's nothing like this in MB. Editing the included clips and layering animation on top is about as close as you can get to this.
