hello all!

iīm trying to model a very simple object (some pokemon sort of stuff) which is supposed to be built of very large polygons. the problem i got with this is that c4d always triangulates my polygons because they are not plane. i start with a box and then build everything via extrude. is there a way to tell cinema to allow only point/polygon positions that result in a plane polygon? this would be very helpful because point modelling isnīt that much fun!

thanks in advance!

Hi,
It's almost impossible for large polygons, I think. And a few small triangles are allowable for Hyper NURBS. Disappointed?
Hum...ok, this may not be promising, how about the way to use a sufficiently subdivided sphere, which is made from Hexahedron Sphere primitive as below. Only quadrangles therein.:)
