looks nice

somthing about the reflection on the first pic is weird to me. and i would change the color, but it looks good.

Quite accurate...but I gotta ask.

Why this car??? :D

Thanks for the comments guys. Dirk_P_Ho, This is the car that my parents have, so I was able to get a lot of reference pics, so I decided to try to model it. That's the reason it's this color too, but yeah nosoup4u, I should try and experiment with different colors.

Wow!

Talk about detail! I'd lighten the scene up a bit more, however. Just seems a bit dark.

Give us the specs, how it was made etc.

Overall, GREAT WORK!

what software did you use for this?

Anyway, you should really turn up OSA and at least put it in some sort of basic environment.

Headlights also don't look reflective enough, but maby that is just a symptom of the lack of environment.

Color could be much better. How about Blue ;)

I would like to see more shots of the inside.

Nice work overall.

Here is a render with different ligthing. Tylerb59, It was made in Max 5 with the box modeling method for basically everything. Oh and stephen2002, I'll try to post some shots that show the inside more. I didn't model every little detail inside, but enough to get some pretty close shots. Thanks for the comments guys!

the imporved lighting makes it look better, and I also noticed more OSA.

The treads on the wheels could use a little bit of beveling, but that is just me being picky.

Looking forward to some interior shots, even if they are not all that detailed.

Thanks Stephen2002. Here are some more shots, a couple of them show some closer shots of the interior.

Excellent, how many polys?

Wireframe?

metallimonkey

Tylerb59, it's about 80,000 polys with everything being at the base mesh. After all the smoothing, for rendering, it comes to about 700,000. Here's a wireframe pic at the base mesh level before smoothing.

Agreed!!

You've made a somewhat styish car absolutly beautiful. I love the interior work and lighting changes you have made.

What about black with a grey interior?
(Personally passionate car colors :) )

Way to go!

thanks for the interior shots. They are very good. The view from the back is especially convincing. From what I can see, there is quite a bit of detailing on the inside, very good.

So this was rendered using Max's built-in rendering?

Put it in an environment and you have yourself quite a portfolio pice.

The modelling looks good...I can see several places where you should tweak the mesh a bit...You should try to "thighten" the seams a bit and try to tweak the mesh so it doesnt look "denty".
This is very hard using nurms (been there) and requires quite a lot of work...

The environment needs some work too, I would try to place some "white cards" in the environment since it seems that you are going for the "studio look"

The paint shader looks a bit too reflective, and I think the white reflection you got on the rear window is a bit strong in the last pictures posted...
