dale22x 08-07-2005, 10:12 PM Ok a while ago i made this low polygonal woman last week, i kinda liek the concept and i want to add some more stuff on her,..so am making a high polygon version of her. am gonna try to stay under 4000 polygons. so far it's 1060 polygons

It looks to me like the proportions are maybe a bit messed up, but i can't figure out what exactly.
i would preatiate it if some one could make a rough draw over for me ^_^ thx

i'd try n get the whole figure down it's easier to tell when its all there, the hips could be wider n the breasts look to high but i think that'll look better when she has a neck. the knee caps are also too low

Hey ok,..i fixed up some of the stuff you told me,....i can't seem to change the hips,...=/ they look stange no matter what i do to them,...XD...
I also modelled the hands and I am going to start modelling the head now,..
The body feels kinda empty, can you think of any accessories i could add onto her to make it look a bit better,

hip width varies from person to person so i wouldnt worry. what sorta gal is she? her acsessories should follow this

she lives in a mix of futureist/modern and like midevil time....inher world there are like humans,..and then like this other group...mix of different races,...vampires,..shit like that..
they don't get along...now her brother has been taken,..she's going after them....she can use weak spells,...and i am trying to figure out if she should simply get stronger and stranger spell wise as the game goes,..or should she be more of a hand to hand vombat person with just minor spells,....

i guess she should carry reagents vials n scrolls n that sorta thing if she's involved in magic, a pack would be handy for a gal on a quest, none of those boring square backpacks tho u see girls these days with loads of different bags choose something that compliments her charecter and suits her look, a bit of light armor might make her interesting even if its just some knee and shoulder pads, try n break away from the sweatshirt n pants look tho :)

It went from N-gage to PS2. LoL.
Nice model, but check those proportions on the boobs and pay particular attention to the profile of the body. A very good reference is Anthony Ward's .pdf file on his site, he's got the side view of this type of character nailed pretty well:
