the manuals are very useful for bit on lighting....could be better but don't ignore them. Not really sure by your post what sort of level youre talking about though...maybe to basic for ya. Also wasn't sure whether you meant the concepts or c4d specific. anyways hope this helps.

Register (it's free) and watch *all* the tutorials. Many are on texturing, some are on lighting, but they're all, as the commercial says, priceless.
