Hi All,
I'm currently evaluating my requirements and about to purchase a new system.
My Old PC that has 845GVSR mobo (I run Maya 6.01 on it :surprised ).
Only One Clarification required.

:: I searched guru3d, adrian ,mvtech ,xtremegear forums (sorry to list them).
But found out that only AGP 6X series could be softquadroed using rivatuner patches.

So pls confirm which is good one

MSI Neo SLI platinum (s939)+ 6800GT PCI-e

OR

Asus A8V Deluxe(s939) with 6800GT AGP8x

thanks
Shreedhar

Hi rebo,
Well that leads towards better not to go for PCI-E yet for now.
thanks

Usually its luck of the draw or what manufactures card to go with. Some might work others might not. Even if a manufacture has a card that can be modded it still might not work. Its a total toss up.

Depends on the revision of the Geforce 6 series card. More recent ones seem to be locked out of softmoddoing, while the older cards aren't.
