Hey guys,

Well just started modeling a Thunderbolt aircraft the other day, setting up reference images a playing around - not really getting down to work ("I'm just planning it guys hold up hold up") and I was thinking that i had not heard much in these forums that I could find on aircraft modeling and tutorials as well.

So any of you Vets out there have any ideas as to how you would go about it. I have my own methods and I get pretty good results.

So you have - Sub-D Poly Method - Point then Bridge(create poly now) and finally - Spines & Nurbs which C4D does not support.

Can you point me in the right direction for some tutorials and everybody else who is in to aircraft modeling please guys :).

Your knowledge is much appreciated

Maybe contact Bazze of http://www.colacola.se ? He has done a few aircrafts and he's done them in C4D.

head over to C4D Cafe (http://www.c4dcafe.com). There's a number of our members into aircraft modelling. Look in the WIp forum for a range of aircraft models in various stages.

Here's what I'm working on. Almost finished. Just got bump mapping for the panels and rivets to do plus some weathering.

Update. Looks like you've found us already!!
