a sketch i did straight onto the computer.. :D it's a bit naughty, but she's not nude. i'm gonna color this for sure, but my fingers hurt too much tonite :D

i apologize if you see that stupid red X. my image hosting sucks and i've hit a bandwidth limit. if anyone knows of free hosting that's better than homestead, please drop me a PM. thanks!

Hey, very cool picture!!:buttrock:

I like the head very much. It's great! , and the upper torso. Fantastic! But I don't like the hair, it's too rectangular (reminds me of Alfonso Azpiri - spanish illustrator). The arms are a little too strong, and the effect on the legs it's also a little strange. Too strech! :D

Absolutely fantastic, can't wait to see her coloured.
Having said that I agree with Slime about her arms but I like her legs as is.
The only thing that did jump out was her left ear, it looks like it's attached just slightly back from her eye.

i think i will make her arms a bit thinner as well.. i just got worried the foreshortening wouldn't come out well :( still a toughie

Yeah, this is nice ... :drool: But I agree with the comments on her arms. Too strong looking for the rest of her body. It's probably due to the forshortning or the short stubby fingers. The hair is a bit out of style for the rest of the image, but I actually like it the way it is. I look forward to seeing this one when completed. Good work! :beer:

Its an awesome example of manga style illustration, I agree about the ear comments and the thickness on the arm..
foreshortening on arm perspective is always a bit tricky.

I love the hair rendering , even with the rectangular-ness(if thats a word) It works well for the style of the drawing. it really seems to be an accent to the focal point, which in my opinion would be those BIg pretty eyes....then I think the viewers attention would shift to the torso.

Kirt: thank you for your comments :) i will see what i can do about the arms hehe, and possibly her fingers too.. i think her foremost thumb coudld be a bit longer as well.. :D sometimes you don't see things as you sketch and only notice it like a day or two later. thanks for the crits!

Titan: what a nice analysis of the pic! :beer: i'm glad someone liked the hair. in fact, it's probably the fist time i've drawn hair like this... i was trying for an effect i've seen in other pictures.. just experimenting overall.

If you have always on connection I suppose you could set up an FTP and host it yourself. However the implications of doing so are quite obvious. If your intreasted Ill tell you more, but personally I dont think anyone wants people to be constantly downloading things from them.

hey I use homestead also,
how much have you used up?
have you tried creating multiple sites? it doesnt cost any extra, and you get like another 10mb per site ... so in essence you get unlimited space. Not sure how many sites you can make,
but I know its alot, if not unlimited.

and sweet drawing, looks like its colored pencil not photoshop,
crazy.
also the shape, form, and anatomy are all perfect.
not to mention she's hot, hehe.

They host them here, you just need to make them a reasonable size. Under 50k is what it says, but try and be nice and make them a lot less than that. We dont want to clog their server.
