View Full Version : AMD 64 X2 Maya render test request

Heya!

Could someone with AMD X2 system please download a Maya render time test scene from highend3d.com ( http://www.highend3d.com/tests/maya/testcenter/ ) and post the render time result. For some reason there are no dual core test results in the database. I would like to make a comparison with my Pentium 2.4 and see if it's worth the upgrade...

Added my benchmark, not as good as I would of liked. Got 30 Seconds on a AMD X2 4400, would of hoped for a better bench really considering those sub 30 seconds and one on 11 seconds!!??.

EDIT:: After closing some unnecessary programs, I benched 28 seconds consistently. Still nowhere near that 11 seconds though.

I guess your system is cca 3 times faster than my 2.4 Pentium. And Yes, I question that 11 seconds render time a lot.

11 seconds? Pah. Lemme guess - "Test Render Resolution = 50%"
